ULURU TO WA BORDER (Tjukaruru Road via Docker River and including access to Tjunti - Lasseter's Cave). Note: To continue on this road into WA, a permit is required from Ngaanyatjarra Council (phone 8950 1711)
PAPUNYA TO WA BORDER TOWARDS KIWIRRKURRA (Kintore Road via Kintore) aka Gary Junction Road
GLEN HELEN TO PAPUNYA (Glen Helen-Papunya Road) Note: A permit is not required to visit Glen Helen Gorge. This selection covers the back road out of Glen Helen to Papunya. This road could accompany the other roads, apart from the Docker River Road.
PAPUNYA TO WA BORDER TOWARDS DOCKER RIVER (Kintore and Sandy Blight Roads via Kintore).
Note: the Sandy Blight Road is a very rough and remote road which requires a full day to traverse. As the road crosses the WA border, a permit is also required from Ngaanyatjarra Council (phone 8950 1711)
Note: Mereenie Tour Pass which includes a Mereenie Loop Road transit permit is not available online but at access communities and at CLC in Alice Springs.
