Mining permits are issued for access to Aboriginal land pursuant to an Exploration or Mining Agreement.
If your application is successful a permit will be issued for a specific purpose, a specific place/s and a specific period. The permit will not allow you to enter Aboriginal land for any purpose other than that stated on the permit. The permit may be issued subject to conditions.
